Well it has been about 8 months since we decided to start building a new studio shed at the side of our house. For those of you that have been on my workshops at home know that I have run them from my studio in the attic area of our house and although it is a lovely place to work , it has been at times, a little cramped.
So the big dig started and our holiday was spent with my fab hubby working out calculations and construction plans as this was to be his major DIY project.
I have had fun working as a labourer even though I was told I wasn't very good as I answered back and didn't always do what I was told. Slowly the shed began to take form and it was all getting really exciting. Over the summer things progress quicker and I could see that we were getting closer to the fun bit...shopping :)
I have spent the last few weeks getting ready for my first workshop. I am so proud of my hubby for building me an amazing 'shed' to work in and to top if all off I am going to be working 4 days at my day job come September so I can really move things forward.
