A focus on HAND STITCHING

TEXTURED BOTANICAL MINI HOOPS (NEW 2026) *
Step into the world of tactile textiles with our latest workshop! This session is dedicated to the art of the botanical mini hoop—a tiny, concentrated burst of nature captured through fabric and thread.
Rather than sticking to traditional, flat embroidery, we will be pushing the boundaries of the hoop to create a high-texture, three-dimensional miniature. This workshop explores how to transform simple materials into a lush, organic composition that begs to be touched.

VINTAGE TEXTILE HANGING
Give Your Favorite Fabric Bits a Place to Shine
We all have that special drawer or "treasure tin"—the one filled with beautiful lace offcuts, a swatch of fabric from a loved one’s dress, vintage buttons, or that single, shimmering ribbon too pretty to throw away. We keep them safe for a "special project."
This is that project. In this soulful, creative workshop, we invite you to bring those cherished "bits" out of the shadows and into the light. Together, we will transform your collection of fragments into a stunning textile wall hanging that allows you to see and enjoy your treasures every single day.

HAND STITCHED PAPER BOOK IN A TIN *
Unlock the charm of small-scale making in this immersive workshop. We often think of embroidery as something for a hoop, but this session takes your stitches on a journey through the pages of a hand-crafted miniature book.
Perfectly sized to fit within a decorative keepsake tin, your finished book will serve as a beautiful personal sampler—a tactile library of hand-stitching techniques that you can carry with you or display on a shelf.
This can be a 1 or 2 day workshop.
A focus on PAINTING TO INSPIRE STITCH

PAINTED, STITCHED HOOP
Overcoming the "White Fabric Fear" through Color and Thread
Does a crisp, white piece of fabric feel a little too intimidating to touch with a needle? You aren’t alone! That "blank page syndrome" can stall the best of creative intentions. In this workshop, we banish the fear of the white canvas by diving headfirst into color, using paint as our guide and stitch as our storyteller.
By applying fluid marks and pigment first, we create an organic roadmap that makes the subsequent embroidery feel intuitive, relaxed, and deeply personal.

HOOP HOOP TO STITCH (NEW 2026)
A New Dimension in Textile Backgrounds
Ready to take your stitching to the next level—literally? Whether you are looking for a sequel to our Painted & Stitched session or you want a fresh, experimental starting point for a brand-new project, this workshop is all about structural depth.
By working with a double hoop setup, we move away from flat surfaces and begin building a layered, sculptural environment ready for your needle.
This can be a 1 or 2 day workshop
A focus on PRINTING & STITCH

LINO PRINT AND STITCH BOX *
Discover the unexpected beauty of "waste" materials in this innovative, multi-disciplinary workshop. We will be combining the bold, graphic lines of lino cutting with the delicate, translucent fragility of tea bag paper to create a structured miniature box.
This session is a masterclass in contrast: merging the pressure of a printing press with the slow, meditative pace of hand embroidery.

LINO PRINT AND STITCH BOBBIN *
If you love the idea of print and stitch but prefer a more fluid, storytelling format, this alternative workshop track is for you. Using the same sophisticated techniques of lino cutting and tea bag paper printinga, we will pivot from box-making to create a beautiful, tactile Bobbin Scroll.
Inspired by vintage textile spools and ancient scrolls, this format allows your artwork to unfurl like a story, making it a perfect piece for those who love "slow-stitching" and portable art.

MONO SCREEN PRINTING & STITCH *
A Day of Fluid Marks and Tactile Responses
Does a pristine piece of white fabric feel more like a hurdle than a head start? We often hesitate to make that first mark, fearing we might "spoil" the material. This workshop is designed to shatter that hesitation through the expressive, unpredictable, and utterly addictive art of mono screen printing.
By using the screen as a tool for spontaneous mark-making, you’ll create a series of unique "under-paintings" that act as an immediate inspiration for your embroidery.
