The idea about this group is to have and make the time to work on a project with others. It is always hard to finish a project in a 1 day workshop, so this evening school will hopefully give you the time to work on a project.
DATES - January 20th, February 17th, March 17th, April 21st, May 19th 2026
Each session will run from 6pm till 8pm UK time. (the sessions will be recorded and link to the recording sent out each month)
The session will be a LIVE for 2 hours and then you can work on your book, in your own time, before returning the next month.
The 2 hours will be a zoom and will be recorded for your future reference. The link for all sessions is o PDF you will receive on booking, please keep this safe.
Book in a tin
Anne's first love of stitching was to work with paper. During this evening school Anne will show you how to combine her love of paper & stitch into a mini book using a range of techniques and her jig for hole punching ready to stitch into.
You will have you opportunity to explore a range of techniques, culminating in a 'book in a tin'
Anne will post out to you a mini kit containing
a mini tin
paper for the book pages
Anne's 'jig'
Paper piercing tool
Some paper ephemera to get you started
Note this contains Anne's designed jig and a sharp paper piercer that are for your own use
On the evening you will need.
Hand sewing kit
small pieces of collage paper (wrapping paper, magazines, envelopes, tickets, stamps etc)
Scissors (paper and fabric)
Any small bits of fabric / lace / threads you would like to use in your book to make it more personal.
Possible embellishments - press studs, mini safety pins, buttons
There may be other things we think about on the workshop, which is the beauty of working at home.
The price includes the kit.
