In her own work, Anne has create a range of hand painted hoops that she uses as a base to stitch on and now offers a selection of painted hoops for sale.
 
The hoops have been created using Anne's technique of layering media to create a beautiful surface of colours that invite you to stitch and embellish them further.
 
They come in either an embroidery hoop or deeper quilters hoop. Painted onto upcycled fabric using a range of water colour, water soluble graphite, inks, emulsions, inktense and other media.
 
NOTE do not get went or display in full sun light.
 
Anne usually adds a range of hand stitching techniques and threads, using the shapes and lines as a guide and inspiration.
 
Suggested stitches - running, back, chain, feather, fly, blanket, french knots, bullion knots, etc
 
She further embellishes them with Yorkshire buttons (flat and 3d) blanket bowls, buttons, wrapped wires, beads and hand made polymer clay embellishments.
