Abstract Painted Hoop in a hoop
This workshop brings together Anne's love of painting and stitch. Working in a hoop you will explore how to create a hoop in a hoop composition. Then using a range of painting and mark making techniques to create a background that will then inspired the stitching you do. Anne will take you through this step by step and be on hand to give advice and inspiration.
It is unlikely you will complete the whole hoop on day 1.
Requirements
You can bring your own embroidery hoops. A 6 inch embroidery hoop and 12 Inch quilters hoop. Please let Anne know in advance if you wish to purchase them on the day (£20).
Cotton fabric 50cm x 50cm
Hand sewing kit
All other materials are provided, you just need to bring along your lunch.
Anne will provide drinks throughout the day.
