MONO SCREEN PRINTED GARDENS
Using mono printing to create a background to create a mini stitch pieces inspired by gardens
STITCHED COLLAGE
You will create a collage using paper and fabric
combined with machine and hand embroidery inspired by your own image.

Hand Dyed threads and embroidery
This day will give you the opportunity to explore dyeing your own threads and create your own hand stitched piece of work presented in a hoop..
Vintage fabric embroidery
In this workshop we will be working on vintage fabric to create a unique sample. Using hand dyed threads and a range of fabrics and trimming you will explore a range of hand stitching techniques to create your fabric embroidery.
VINTAGE STITCHED POSTCARDS
Printing onto a vintage postage you will them embellish with a range of hand stitching techniques
COLLAGE BOXES
In this workshop you will created a PAPER stitched collage box that is lined with fabric and has a lid taking inspiration from an image or theme.

Working on the filling
This day will give you the opportunity to explore techniques for your own personal workbook / visual journal. We will explore presentation, doodling and ideas for your own personal book.
STITCHED COLLAGE GARDENS
Inspired by the plants and flowers you see in the garden you will create a collage using paper and fabric

HAND STITCHED BOOK IN A TIN
A 2 day workshop starting with a blank mini paper book that is embellished with fabric, collage, hand stitch and other things
PRINT, COLLAGE & STITCH
We will explore a variety of printing techniques that we will then 'rip up', collage and stitched together to create a unique wall hanging.
Vintage textile hanging
Working with a range of fabrics, embellishments and hand stitching you will spend the workshop creating your own unique hanging.
Free machining for beginners
Available as an online workshop.
Video tutorial takes you through a number of tasks
to build your confidence in this technique.

PHD(project half done) days
These 'project half done' days are an opportunity for you to work on those projects that have been lurking in a box.
Come along to Shed 76 &1/2, bring your project, equipment, lunch and spend the day getting things done alongside like minded people
£15 for a day session 10-3
All workshops are at Shed 76 1/2 in Brighouse HD6 3EL

I offer a range of talks(ONLINE) and workshops that I am able to offer to your group either online (Zoom) or in person. If you want any more information or to discuss your requirement please get in contact.
WORKSHOPS
Option 1 ; I can come to your group to run a workshop.
Basic cost -
£295 for up to 15 people
+ Travel @45p per mile
If there are more than 15 people please contact me for additional costs (£15 per person)
(but I prefer not to go over 20 people as this effects the quality of the workshop and personal experience.)
Option 2 ; your group could come to Shed 76 1/2
8-10 places depending on workshop + cost on request
Option 3 ; a workshop using zoom. This is ideal if travel is an issue or you all live in different parts of the world.
I will host the zoom for your group.
Ideally no more than 20 participants. Cost - £275

TALKS
I prefer to combine a talk with a workshop on the following day, but if you just require a talk I can offer ones to your group via zoom.. Please contact me for more information and to discuss your requirements.
Talks in person and on zoom are £120. (Plus travel if in person @45p per mile)
For the love of stitch
This talk will reveal the story of my journey and how I arrived where I am today. My inspiration, working progress through to the realisation of my stitched collage and other work. It also focuses on the change in direction from 2021 to present day and the development of #sew4thesoul how I became more obsessed with stitch ever since.
All talks are around 45 mins with time for Q&A and viewing my work afterwards
